Former U.S. Sen. Jesse Helms, a North Carolina Republican who became an icon to conservatives, died Friday at the age of 86, a senior congressional source told CNN.No loveloss here . . . my feeling are not hurt in the least that this man is dead! Mr. Helms, I'm sure I'll be joining you in hell, but for quite different reasons. At any rate, please feel free to use the suite I've reserved in hell! :-)
